Experienced users know that it is a good idea to delete their browsing history, especially when using someone else's computer. Even if the browsing history is no more, there is still plenty of information left behind. If you need to prove that someone misused a computer, Chrome Analyzer can help you. It is a forensics analyzer for Google Chrome, which is capable or extracting a huge amount of behavioral data. Besides a user's browsing history, it can also display used search terms, bookmarks, cookies and other details.

The software is free to try for a limited period of time, without any functionality restrictions. Besides Google Chrome, which is an obvious requirement, the software asks for .NET Framework 4.5 as well. You can install Chrome Analyzer in no time, on any modern Windows version, and run it without sacrificing too much memory or processing power.

Before anything else, you should know that Chrome Analyzer doesn't touch any privileged information, like usernames, passwords or bank accounts. It provides sufficient forensics data, without violating anyone's privacy. While the application is running, Google Chrome should be closed. If everything is in order, you only need to create a new case and confirm a detected profile path, on a small window.

Once you create a new case, the application will immediately display everything it can find in several lists, which can be accessed via navigation buttons, located on a toolbar. You can view a browsing history, downloaded files, used search terms, bookmarks, cookies, most visited sites and many other details. Chrome Analyzer allows you to export the information from one list or export everything, as an Excel spreadsheet or a Comma Separated Value file.

Pros

The application is capable of retrieving a huge amount of information from Google Chrome. The information is categorized in separate lists and it can be exported in XLS, XLSX or CSV format.

Cons

Chrome Analyzer doesn't come with any features for locating or filtering information. With Chrome Analyzer, you will know everything there is to know about a user's activity in Google Chrome.
